It's been a while since our last big Experts Sync! We covered updates on what's happening with our partner program and what it means for you. We followed that with a deep dive on lead generation.

Changes coming to the Experts program
We're tightening membership requirements to ensure we're working better together with the right partners.
We're removing unqualified and inactive members.
Effective October 1st, you must complete Glide University certifications (Levels 1-3) to join and stay in the program. You no longer need to be on 2+ paid teams or have an Agency plan to become Certified.
The Community Experts tier will be removed at the end of the year. Community Experts must complete their Glide certifications by December 31st to remain in the program.
Other program enhancements
In addition to the updated membership requirements, we're overhauling other aspects of the program to support our goal of working better together with the right group of partners.
Those changes include:
PartnerStack replaces the Experts Hub as our system of record.
New Experts Hub version will focus on partner support.
Monthly Experts Sync for program updates and special guests.
Weekly Newsletter with announcements, community highlights, and more.
Experts Playbook docs with guidelines, how-to's, and FAQs.
Experts Directory opens to all Certified Experts.
Glide x Contra partnership with exclusive perks for Certified Experts.
Links to the new Hub, Playbook, etc... will be available in PartnerStack on October 1st. (The date may bump back slightly, but October 1st is what we're aiming for.)
Optimizing your Experts Directory listing
The Glide Experts Directory is the main way we refer customers to you. After claiming your listing, you'll need to complete the required fields to become Searchable, and optimize your listing to be publicly visible.
We look for:
About Section: Introduce your skills and unique approach.
Media: Supporting visuals like screenshots, device renderings.
Videos: Embed YouTube videos for demos and case studies.
Client Logos: Display past clients to build trust and credibility.
Resources: Links to your site, case studies, socials, booking, etc.
Client Reviews: Verified by Glide. Need 1+ to be publicly listed.
Finding clients beyond Glide
Tom Gray and Darren Alderman are longtime Glide Experts. They're working on a new project, Flow AI, that helps companies with LinkedIn outreach. They joined us today to share insights on lead gen via LinkedIn.
Key takeaways:
Go beyond Glide to find new clients. You need a separate source of leads from your own marketing.
LinkedIn is essential for professional networking, and effective for finding sales opportunities.
Focus on personalization in your outreach. Make recipients feel recognized and appreciated.
Be human and genuine, not sales-heavy. Focus on building trust and rapport.
Be curious. Understand prospects' problems first before offering your solutions.
Be casual and low-pressure. Avoid direct pitching in your outreach.
Learn from your mistakes. Embrace transparency and use failures for growth.
Three pillars of outreach = Identify the buyer, refine your offer, and craft compelling messages.
P.S. Flow's new Agent Maya browser extension streamlines your LinkedIn outreach by aiding in message personalization and follow-up management.
