Hello Experts!

In previous years we’ve hosted public, year-end livestreams.

This year we decided to go smaller with an event exclusively for Experts.

Two quick reminders before we get into it:

  • Our Agency Plan promo continues through the end of the week. You can claim your annual Agency plan for $1000, down from the usual $1188, until this Friday, December 19th.

  • Our core team will be on holiday hours starting next Monday. If you need support, start a Help chat with our team via your Agency plan. This will put you in the priority queue. If the issue is with a client’s team, include their team ID in the chat. Our team will take it from there.

A look back on 2025

It’s hard to believe, but Workflows came out at the start of this year, replacing the old Actions editor. With Workflows came the schedule trigger, webhook trigger, and loops with conditional logic.

We continued shipping more improvements to the Glide builder over the following months, including multiplayer support, tabbed container components, voice transcription, and new charts.

Over the last few months, we’ve wrapped up the year by focusing on Enterprise add-ons. We released new QuickBooks and Salesforce integrations, scheduled data backups, and team-level SSO.

These are the enhancements that our biggest customers have been asking for. They need these capabilities to make Glide an integral part of their daily operations.

Gliding into the Enterprise

You can see this focus on Enterprise coming through Glide’s positioning on G2. This year, for the very first time, we’re showing up in Enterprise results.

High Performer in Enterprise, Fastest Implementation for Enterprise… These are all new for Glide, and it’s an intentional move for us. We’re packaging the power, beauty, and magic of Glide for bigger companies.

If we can meet the needs of Enterprise teams, we can meet the needs of midmarket and SMBs.

Winning with customers

As we’ve said before, we can’t do this alone. Our core team is focused on building Glide as a platform, but we need your help to bring Glide to the world.

When we work together, can do more and make a bigger impact on our mutual customers like Carefree, BW Workplace, TTR Sotheby’s, Social Army, and Type.ai.

These are a handful of the customer stories we published this year, and they were only possible thanks to the involvement of Glide Experts.

In the last few weeks we also added a new callout in our customer stories featuring Experts. Now, if you’re cited in a customer story, we include a prominent link to your Directory listing.

These are rolling out to all Experts that are currently cited in our customer stories, and they’ll be standard for all future stories.

Content collaboration

We worked with more of you on marketing content this year, including guest articles on our site.

These pieces are great because they allow you to showcase your expertise. They also help with backlinks for your SEO and sourcing for AI citations, and we reference them in other marketing channels, and even in our sales conversations.

When we work on assets like these together, everybody comes out ahead. This gets to the heart of what we’ve been trying to do this year with the Experts program.

Experts evolution

We hit our two year anniversary in May, celebrating it with some of you at the Create With conference in London. We used that milestone as an opportunity to step back, reflect on where we needed to go next.

That’s when we decided to focus on working more closely with a smaller group of Experts.

When I took on program management in the summer, we paused enrolment, reviewed everything, and removed unqualified members from the program.

Then we started to roll out gradual changes during the fall, like re-centralizing on PartnerStack, launching the new Experts Hub app, and resuming these monthly Expert Syncs.

Glide Experts in 2025

To wrap up, here’s where we stand right now:

  • 475 active Certified Experts in our program

  • Together you’ve brought over 1000 new paid teams to Glide

  • You’ve contributed to over 20% of our revenue for the year

In short: We’re going in the right direction!

Looking ahead to 2026

2025 has been a monumental year for Glide. We’re finally an all-in-one platform, thanks to Workflows. We’re moving upmarket with Enterprise customers. We tightened our focus with the Experts program.

David Siegel, Glide CEO, joined us to talk about where we’re going from here. Key points:

  • Glide started in 2019 with a focus on bringing design sensibility to low-code/no-code tools for businesses, particularly with spreadsheets.

  • The arrival of large language models (LLMs) and agentic layers signified that billions of people will create software. We considered 2025 as the "year of possibility" for building compelling and effective software.

  • A new version of Glide is under development, combining agentic coding approaches (LLMs) with control structures to ensure determinism and confidence. More details to be shared early next year.

  • In the new Glide, users can get started by uploading a spreadsheet. The system will immediately analyze the spreadsheet's data, formulas, and visual details to understand the use case.

  • With this approach, spreadsheets are treated as rich prompts for business applications, moving beyond just "dumb data." The system will provide recommendations and build a plan for the initial app version.

  • The new Glide will prioritize data and calculation, which has been a distinguishing factor for Glide compared to other no-code tools. We aim to automate most of the design process.

  • Our next-generation data editor will allow users to see more of their data. Calculated columns will show the underlying SQL expressions (or a higher-level pseudocode/Excel formula language).

Glide's ideal customer profile consists of busy professionals operating businesses who want software to run their business more effectively.

We do not aim to turn customers into software developers or designers.

Glide limits exposure to technical and design details, providing guardrails on design possibilities. The goal is to provide confidence in the application's source of truth and calculations, ensuring they are not "hallucinated" by AI.

The existing Glide platform will continue to be available, with the new system representing the future. More public information will be shared in February, with potential early access for Experts before then.

What to expect from the Glide Experts program next year

The number of businesses who would benefit from Glide, but don’t know about Glide, is vastly greater than the number of businesses already on Glide. Those are the businesses we need to reach.

How do we do it? By addressing the issues they’re facing today, and in the immediate future.

We don’t lead with Glide. We lead with the things they care about.

Pain Points & Opportunities

So, what are the issues these companies face heading into the new year?

1. Finding the ROI in AI

We hear it in sales and customer conversations all the time. They’re tired of the hype. They’ve hit the wall with vibe coding. They need something that actually works. How do they efficiently deploy AI? How do they get real, measurable value out of it?

2. Economic Anxiety

Businesses are facing rising costs, and there is general uncertainty about what the future holds. They don’t know what’s coming; they need to be prepared for whatever happens. They need to become more resilient, so they can quickly adapt.

3. Strategic Spending

We’re seeing bigger investments in tech, specifically in digital transformation. It’s already started and it’ll continue in 2026. That digital transformation budget is what we need to tap into.

We can help companies become more resilient in the face of all this uncertainty and change.

We see it in our G2 results. We’re the fastest to implement, with the best usability, and the best results. We have the efficiency, effectiveness, and ecosystem that businesses need.

That’s what makes us such a great platform to build on.

What you can do, that we can’t, is find and get close to these companies.

Figure out what slice of this you can lean into and own. Maybe it’s a specific region, or an industry, or a use case you’re intimately familiar with. Figure out what those companies need, figure out how you could best help them.

Become the trusted advisor and expert. The one who helps them figure things out and solve problems. The one who helps them Glide through their digital transformation.

Aligning with the right Experts

Earlier this year we said that we wanted to work more closely with a smaller group of Experts. That’s why we removed thousands of unqualified members from the program. We’ll continue to dial that in next year to ensure we have the right partners in our network.

So, to be very explicit:

The Glide Experts program is for agencies, consultants, and freelancers who have proven Glide experience. You help teams and organizations improve their internal operations by implementing Glide efficiently and effectively.

Accelerating our growth

We’re setting out to build a marketing engine that works for everyone in the Experts program.

It starts with the revival of our Experts Accelerator.

We’re bringing it back, but it’s not going to cover the technical side of building in Glide. Instead, the Accelerator is going to focus on helping you become a successful Glide Expert.

Establishing your presence, finding leads, closing deals, managing clients, getting them on retainers – this is the type of content we’re going to cover in the new Accelerator.

The modules will be on-demand, and as you complete them you’ll fulfill the criteria for a public listing in the Experts Directory.

This is a collaborative effort with contributions from some of our most successful Experts.

Office Hours, aka Power Hours, will also return.

Long-time Experts will remember these sessions from several years ago. They’re recurring Zoom calls for networking, peer support, drop in and out at your convenience.

We’re going to experiment with different timings to see what works best for everybody.

We’ll introduce new marketing campaigns for you to join.

Each campaign will anchor on a central theme. For example, we’re sponsoring the Excel World Championship next year, so that’ll be our anchor for November. You’ll be able to participate by adopting the guidelines, content, and assets made available by our Marketing team.

Operational adjustments

To keep things running smoothly, we’re also introducing some admin adjustments in the new year:

  • An updated agreement will lay out the terms of the Experts program in detail. It will be available through PartnerStack for you to review and agree to.

  • We’ll also have updated incentives, i.e. tweaks to our revshare and reward models, that reinforce our focus on business customers. We’ll have more to share on these changes in January.

  • We’ll also introduce recurring check-ins to keep everyone on track. This will be a change from the reactive, ad hoc check-ins and 1:1s we’ve done in the past. Expect experimentation here as we figure out what works best for everyone.

New brand and badges

In case you missed it: We quietly introduced new Glide branding in September.

The symbol is the same, but the logo, the wordmark, is different. If you’re not using this already, please go through all your marketing assets and update them.

Bookmark our Brand Guidelines for future reference. You’ll also find a link to them in the Experts Hub and in the Resources section of your PartnerStack dashboard.

We also have a new set of badges for Experts and Agencies to go with the new brand treatment. These include black and white variants, so you have more options to work with.

We’ll send these out in January, and you’ll also find them in the Resources section of your PartnerStack dashboard.

Thank you for Gliding with us in 2025

Having the privilege of taking on the Experts program, getting to work with all of you, has been a delight.

I can’t wait to see what we accomplish together in 2026.

Happy Holidays from me and the entire Glide team!
